Winters in Canada can seem to take forever to end sometimes. I do love winter in many ways and would miss it if i lived somewhere that never got snow and cold. Without snow you can not build snowmen and snow forts or make snow angels. And i love toboganning and snowmobiling so again need snow. Even the freezing cold temperatures have a certain freshness to them sometimes. I always love it when the snow gets a sparkle to it. And one bonus with cold temperatures we do not have some of the killer creatures certain insects,spiders,snakes etc.. that other places do.
But around this time of year i think we all get a bit of spring fever. We start thinking of what we will plant in our gardens this year,what flowers will look pretty which vegetables might be tasty.
I find at this time of year i get the urge to paint all sorts of spring and summer designs. Right now i have started on a butterfly kick i have started with the classic Manarch Butterfly and am sure i will likely work my way through each and everyone before the warm weather actually gets here.
